Probation report
During our trip in London I had the chance to share my internship experience with a British 16-year old girl called Reefah in the charity “St Mungo’s Broadway” located in the centre of London in an administrative area.
I met Reefah at 9 o’clock to take the tube. When we arrived we met Stephanie who gave us documents to put on the data base.
The second day, we tried to collect funds from French organisations in London. We searched some of them on the Internet and we had others contacts from Stephanie. We tried to convince them to install a cash box in their place.
Finally, we sorted out some old hats and beanies for donations. Then we visited a hostel for homeless people. There was an art, information technology and culinary class and I really liked the place because people were very nice and gentle.
In conclusion, I’ll say that those 3 days are the most amazing experience I had because I met people and done things for good causes.
I thank everybody from St Mungo’s Broadway and Mr and Mrs Sinfield for this opportunity.
