My work experience at StreamMind

 

I did my work experience at StreamMind, a start-up located in Paris, not far from the Saint-Lazare station. I really enjoyed doing my work experience in this company so I will present it.

 StreamMind is a company of high level engineers and specialists in the treatment of the information used and exchanged by and between banks and companies. It was created in 2007 by Nicolas Muhadri. This company counts around 20 engineers, they develop softwares for many banks.

           

During these 3 days of work experience, we created several icons for a software, which takes part in a confidential project. That was my favourite activity in this company, I found this really interesting and pleasant We visited the offices, and met the employees, they were working really hard but they welcomed us very well. We discovered their jobs, they all develop solutions for banks.

 

Then, we translated from French to English some pages of their software. We were working together, I was doing the translation and Zayn was checking if that was correct.  They gave us a responsibility, because we were translating the documentation that they will present in front of banks and other companies.

 

We discovered the real working atmosphere of a company, they all work in a quiet atmosphere. Thanks to this work experience, we learnt a lot about graphic design by using Photoshop, and about IT’s jobs. This work experience helped me to discover the IT domain, and helped me to know what I’ll study later.
